• Minimum requisites

  • Twin-channel ISDN Internet Access (128K), even though 256K ADSL access is recommended.
    
    If access is shared with other users or the connection is not particularly good the slides may prove to be slightly out of sync with the voice. In which case run the presentation once again, the browser no longer has to download all the pictures on the slides (already stored during the previous step) and the presentation will be in sync with the voice.
    
    Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) release 5.01 or later
    
    To correctly show the presentation you need to have installed the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser (release 5.01 or later).
    In any case, the complete installation (all the selected optional components) of release 6.01 is recommended.
    
    For Microsoft Windows Users:
    
    Internet Explorer 6 can be downloaded from this page: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/ie6/default.asp (English version)
    Or it may be installed using the Windows Update option in the operating system by clicking on the Start button and then selecting Windows Update.

    Microsoft Windows Media Player 6.4 release
    
    It is included automatically as part of the complete installation of Internet Explorer (IE).   • If your system corresponds to the minimum requirements, but problems arise whilst showing presentations on-line, here you will find all the links needed to manually download the components that are normally included in the installation of IE or Windows Media Player or can be downloaded automatically when needed for displaying the pages.
    
    Windows Media codecs release 8
    
    If not already installed, Windows Media Player will automatically try to download it on entering the presentation page.

    The latest version of the library in the MSORUN.DLL system
    
    Internet Explorer (IE) will automatically try to download it, but it is possible to download it manually from: http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2002/msorun.aspx (in English)
    
    VML Support
    
    Vector Graphics Rendering (VML) is a component found in Internet Explorer from release 5.01 or later. However, it is only installed by selecting the "Typical" (Default) and "Full" versions when installing IE. This component will not be installed if the "minimal" version is selected, or the "Custom" option, without specifically selecting the VML Rendering component.
    In any case, you can install the component by following this procedure :
    Open the Control Panel in the operating system, go to Install Applications and select "Microsoft Internet Explorer".
    Click on the Change/Remove button and, from the dialogue box that opens, select : "Add components".
    In the next dialogue box scroll down to "Multimedia" and select the "VML Rendering" option
